Low Angle Tilt Up Shot - Location: Graffiti Wall
The picture shows how we plan to use the stairs at the wall
to our advantage of creating a shot that is different to the general midshots
and longshots that we would continually fall back on.

(NOT) Shooting against the Graffiti Wall
We decided after looking at the location that shooting
against the graffiti wall wasn't the feel that we wanted in our video, maybe if
it was covered in block colours or more artistic graffiti then it would be
different but this "chavy street" look doesn't fit our video in our
mind.

This type of location really filled the frame but you can
see the concrete space in the centre which would be useful as an easy space for
the band to stand and do their performance.

Shooting walking sequence down a road
I just like the symmetry that can sometimes be found down a
road, of the nice framing that can be seen. We also thought of doing these
shots down one the other avenues nearby...
As you can se this length of the road vastly improves the
shot, giving that real sense of depth and as seen on the photo of the map we
have six different avenues to choose from on the day that we shoot this
location, so we can find the one least filled up with cars.
This field with the lighter ground compared to the green
hedgerows and trees and blue sky makes for a nice three colour spread across
the frame and picture (even though the colour was going by this time, this shot
at Golden Hour would be fantastic).
